My six words Saturday story today is one of regret.
I only have one week left of summer vacation. Already, work is calling. My program chair called with questions and comments about community engagement and the Fall Convocation. The secretaries have been sending email about mandatory meetings, required paper work, and requests for the carry–in following the first fall faculty meeting. Community clinical liaisons have been asking about student placement and two students have emailed me requesting appointments! And so it goes – on and on and on.
Where did my summer go? One minute I’m on the beach in Florida, at my niece’s wedding, in Illinois at a family reunion, or sitting on my porch drinking lemonade. The next thing I know, there’s one week left of summer vacation. Time really does fly!
So – One week left of summer vacation – is my Six Words Saturday story today. What’s yours? Tell me in the comment section and shareit on Facebook. Really! I’d love to hear it but keep it brief. Since you can only use six, every word counts.
When you’ve told me your story and posted to Facebook, go see Cate at Show My Face. She’s always got some great six words Saturday stories going on over there. Check out more Six Words Saturday on Darcy’s Dime by clicking on the hyperlink.
